SDPC "Stage 4" Camshaft Kit for Gen III Hemi

Description

This camshaft kit requires the MDS (Multi-Displacement System) to be removed and disabled if so equipped. This is a complete cam kit for manual transmission vehicles or engines that have already been MDS-deleted.

SDPC has developed a line of camshafts intended to tap into the potential Dodge left on the table. The stock 5.7L and 6.4L Hemi platforms are no slouch, but power falls off hard at higher RPM. Our line of Hemi camshafts will not only increase horsepower significantly, but will also carry that power throughout the entire powerband.

Our "Stage 4" cam is the ticket for over 550 HP at the flywheel in your 6.4L car or truck, and can easily surpass 600 HP with supporting modifications. For 5-speed automatic cars, we recommend a 2400+ RPM stall converter (or 2800+ RPM if you plan to hit the drag strip on slicks); 8-speed automatic cars do not require a torque converter change.

Note: We do NOT recommend the Stage 4 camshaft on the 5.7L Hemi! Piston-to-valve clearance is extremely tight and risks engine damage.

Important Installation & Fitment Notes:

• Requires the MDS (Multi-Displacement System) to be removed and disabled.
• Requires aftermarket custom tuning (not provided).
• Requires an upgraded valve spring kit.
• Includes SDPC valve spring retainers for 5.7L applications (not required on 6.4L).
