SDPC "Stage 3" Camshaft Kit for Gen III Hemi

Description

This camshaft kit requires the MDS (Multi-Displacement System) to be removed and disabled if so equipped. This is a complete cam kit for manual transmission vehicles or engines that have already been MDS-deleted.

SDPC has developed a specialized line of camshafts engineered to tap into the performance Dodge left on the table. While the factory 5.7L and 6.4L Hemi engines are no slouches, power falls off hard at higher RPM. Our line of performance Hemi camshafts not only delivers substantial peak horsepower gains, but carries that power throughout the entire upper RPM range.

Our "Stage 3" grind is the ticket if you want to approach 500 HP at the flywheel in your 5.7L car or truck, and easily surpass 500 HP in a 6.4L application. In engine dyno testing, this profile delivered an impressive gain of 115 horsepower and 54 lb-ft of torque over the factory 5.7L camshaft. For 5-speed automatic cars, we recommend a 2400+ RPM stall converter (or 2800+ RPM if you plan to hit the drag strip on slicks); 8-speed automatic applications do not require a torque converter change.

All SDPC Gen III 2009+ Hemi Camshaft Kits Include:

• SDPC-spec performance camshaft ground on a high-quality billet core by a premier USA manufacturer
• Matched valve spring set (PAC Racing or Mopar Performance, matched to cam specifications and application)
• Manley hardened pushrods (8.100" intake / 6.800" exhaust lengths)
• SDPC valve spring retainers for 5.7L applications (not required on 6.4L)
• Camshaft phaser lockout block with installation tool

NOTE: It is vital that pushrod length is verified at the time of assembly with any camshaft, lifter, or valvetrain modification. SDPC supplies pushrods that provide correct preload when paired with genuine non-MDS Mopar lifters and our camshafts in standard-deck applications.
