SDPC “Grizzly Tow Power” Camshaft Kit for Gen III 6.4L Hemi

Description

This camshaft kit requires the MDS (Multi-Displacement System) to be removed and disabled if so equipped. This is a complete cam kit for manual transmission vehicles or engines that have already been MDS-deleted.

SDPC has developed a specialized line of camshafts engineered to tap into the performance Dodge left on the table. While the factory 5.7L and 6.4L Hemi engines are no slouches, power falls off hard at higher RPM. Our line of performance Hemi camshafts not only delivers substantial horsepower gains, but carries that power throughout the entire powerband.

The Grizzly Tow Power camshaft is purpose-built for 6.4L HEMI truck owners who use their trucks like they were intended—to tow. Designed to enhance towing and hauling performance, this cam delivers a substantial torque increase across the entire curve, with a 27 ft-lb gain at 2,900 RPM, right in the heart of the towing RPM range.

It doesn’t stop there—this cam also produces a 14 horsepower increase at peak RPM, giving you extra muscle when you need to pass, climb, or push the limits. Expect crisp throttle response, improved midrange strength, and a noticeable punch under load.

Despite the strong performance gains, the Grizzly Tow Power retains smooth idle characteristics and solid vacuum, making it perfectly streetable with no need for a torque converter upgrade.

All SDPC Gen III 2009+ Hemi Camshaft Kits Include:

• SDPC-spec performance camshaft ground on a high-quality billet core by a premier USA manufacturer
• Matching valve springs, either from PAC Racing or Mopar Performance depending on camshaft specs and application
• Manley hardened pushrods (8.100" intake / 6.800" exhaust lengths)
• SDPC valve spring retainers for the 5.7L (not required on 6.4L)
• Camshaft phaser lockout with tool

NOTE: It is vital that pushrod length is verified at the time of installation with any camshaft, lifter, or valvetrain modification. SDPC provides pushrods that are the correct length with Mopar lifters and our camshafts in standard-deck applications.
