Beginning in 2019, GM introduced Dynamic Fuel Management (DFM)—an advanced evolution of the earlier Active Fuel Management (AFM/DOD) architecture. Unlike previous systems that deactivated only fixed cylinders, DFM can seamlessly deactivate any combination across all 17 cylinder firing patterns, requiring dedicated components when repairing or permanently deleting the system. Engineered specifically for 2019+ Gen V 6.2L L87 engines, this comprehensive delete kit supplies all the critical physical hardware required to eliminate failing collapsible lifters and mechanically delete DFM from your engine.

Please note: DiabloSport does not currently support tuning on 2022.5+ refresh trucks and 2021+ full-size SUVs. Key Kit Features & Important Technical Notes:
- Mandatory Camshaft Replacement: A camshaft change is strictly required when removing DFM/AFM from your Gen V engine. Installing non-AFM lifters on factory DFM camshaft lobes will result in severe valvetrain failure.
- Complete Valley Sealing: Includes (8) precision DFM block-off plugs designed to seal the oil towers in the engine valley, maintaining proper oil pressure across the engine.
- Premium Sealing & Fasteners: Ships with durable Fel-Pro 6.2L MLS head gaskets, MLS exhaust gaskets, timing cover seals, and genuine GM TTY cylinder head and balancer bolts.
- Camshaft Bolt Re-Torque Specification: Due to parts availability and application variance, a replacement camshaft phaser bolt is no longer included. GM permits reusing the original bolt one time: torque to 48 ft-lbs plus an additional 50 degrees.
- ECU Recalibration Required: Mechanical removal of DFM hardware from your L87 6.2L requires ECU recalibration to disable the diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) and instrument cluster alerts. Select the DiabloSport handheld option from the dropdown or utilize an HP Tuners device for custom calibration.
