The Katech Gen V L83 & L86 Wet Sump High-Volume Oil Pump is engineered for GM LT-based truck and SUV engines, delivering increased oil volume and pressure compared to standard LT car oil pumps. To prevent catastrophic failure under aggressive loads and sustained RPM, this pump replaces the fragile factory powdered-metal gear with a precision CNC-machined 4140 billet steel gear set for maximum durability.

Based on the factory internal crank-driven variable displacement design, this unit integrates seamlessly with the Gen V LT oiling circuit while providing the elevated volume characteristics demanded by performance builds. Supplied as a 100% brand-new assembly with no core exchange required.
