• Carefully follow the directions for engine sealant application, as improper use can also cause significant harm to the engine.
• Consulting a technician is a great way to determine if the leak is too large for engine sealant and to ensure the proper application of these products.
• For application of these products: Surface should be free of residual fluids such as oil and coolant, as well as detergent residuals. Joints should be closed within 20 minutes of sealant application. Final tightening should be done within one hour of sealant application and joint closure.
