Ford Performance M-6007-A52XS Aluminator 52XS Crate Engine

Description

Delivering track-ready, naturally aspirated power directly from Ford Performance, the 5.2L Aluminator 5.2 XS Crate Engine (Part # M-6007-A52XS) produces 580 horsepower at 7,800 RPM and 445 lb.-ft. of torque at 4,500 RPM. Built with a 12:1 compression ratio across 317 cubic inches, this complete competition-ready engine is designed to operate with 2015–2017 Mustang GT electronics (custom PCM calibration required).

The rotating assembly features a unique Ford Performance cross-plane forged steel crankshaft, unique Manley® H-beam connecting rods with ARP2000® bolts, and Mahle® hard-anodized forged pistons with low-friction coating. Cylinder heads are fully CNC-ported four-valve-per-cylinder aluminum castings equipped with roller-finger followers, unique Ford Performance camshafts (14mm lift / 270° duration on both intake and exhaust), low-leak variable cam timing (VCT) phasers, and Shelby GT350R primary timing chains.

Installation Notes & Exclusions

• Intended Use: Competition use only or off-highway use only; not intended for vehicles driven on public roads or highways.
• PCM Calibration: Custom PCM calibration is required when installing this crate engine in all vehicles, including 2015–2017 Mustang applications.
• Wiring & Control Pack: Vehicle harness, engine harness, and PCM are not included. Compatible with Ford Performance Control Pack M-6017-504V (manual transmission) or M-6017-M50A (automatic transmission); custom calibration required with either pack.
• Hardware Exclusions: Flywheel/flexplate, exhaust headers, and assembly plant lift brackets are not included.
• Hood Clearance: The Cobra Jet intake manifold will not clear production 2015–2017 Mustang hoods without modification.
• Mounting: Engine mount bosses and bell housing bolt patterns are common to 4.6L and 5.0L modular engines.
