Description
The DSX Tuning modular fuel filter is designed for placement downstream of high-performance fuel pumps to protect sensitive fuel injectors from particulate debris and fuel-borne contaminants. Featuring a fully modular billet housing, this assembly adapts to two distinct micro-fiberglass filter elements to support high-flow street, track, and ethanol applications.
Features:
- Dual -10 AN ORB (O-Ring Boss) inlet and outlet ports allow easy adaptation to any custom fuel line plumbing
- All fuel-wetted O-rings are premium fluorosilicone for maximum chemical resistance with pump gas, race gas, and high-concentration E85 / ethanol blends
- Uses 12-micron (12μm) micro-fiberglass elements that satisfy the strict filtration specifications required by Injector Dynamics
- Modular architecture: Standard housing ships configured for the 80mm element, while an available extension sleeve allows upgrading to the high-capacity 130mm element at any time
Optional Add-On:
- Billet mounting bracket assembly utilizing dual isolation O-rings and a set-screw clamp to secure the housing vibration-free
