SDPC's repair kit for GM vehicles equipped with DOD or AFM will equip you with the parts you need to repair the failure. We highly recommend replacing the "VLOM" valley cover, as the solenoids that trigger the AFM lifters can also be a source of failure. You can add the VLOM under the green button below.

  • Gaskets:

    8 x Texas Speed & Performance AFM Tower Plugs

  • Head Gaskets:

    GM OEM L83 head gaskets

  • Head Bolts:

    GM TTY Head Bolt Kit

  • Timing Cover Seals:

    Water Pump Gasket, Front Main Seal

  • Balancer Bolt:

    GM Balancer Bolt

  • Lifter Trays:

    4 x new lifter trays

  • Lifter Option:


    8 x OEM AFM Lifters


    Add 8 x Non-AFM Lifters

  • Valley Cover Option:

    OEM replacement VLOM

  • Fuel Lines:

    High Pressure Pump Fuel Lines

  • Camshaft Option:

    OEM replacement 5.3L AFM camshaft
