This timing cover does not have the oil pump control wire hole. For those that have purchased a Gen V LT that does not have the electronically controlled variable displacement oil pump, disabled the electronics, or using an external oil pump setup.

This also removes a good bit of rotating mass from the valvetrain as it is substantially lighter than the OEM VVT phaser.
