Whether upgrading a factory canister coil or complementing the output of an MSD Blaster Ignition, MSD 5, 6, or 7 Series ignition control, the MSD Blaster Coil line delivers higher spark energy and voltage potential across the entire RPM range.
Engineered for maximum spark output, Blaster Coils utilize specialized 100:1 ratio windings housed in an oil-filled metal canister for continuous cooling and internal component stabilization. The high-durability alkyd tower assembly provides exceptional dielectric strength, while widely spaced brass primary terminals eliminate cross-fire and voltage arcing under high-load conditions.

Installation & Ballast Resistor Note: Most late-model vehicles with electronic ignition do not require a ballast resistor. Always check your ignition control instructions and manufacturer specifications to determine if a ballast resistor is required for your specific wiring configuration.
