This kit is designed to remove DOD/AFM from your 2014+ 4.3L LV3 engine.


NOW AVAILABLE for 2014-2018 Trucks Only! We now offer an optional Diablosport handheld tuner with AFM enable/disable capability, as well as providing all of the performance functions of the Diablosport Predator X

Use the green button below to select your options. When full optioned, this kit includes all of the physical components required to remove the DOD system from the EcoTec 4.3:

  • Choice of Camshaft

  • GM Delphi LS7 Lifters, set of 12

  • 2 non-AFM Lifter Trays



    Camshaft change is required when removing the AFM system from your engine!

    Due to parts availability and variance in applications, a replacement cam bolt is no longer included. GM has released a Torque spec for reusing this bolt 1 time. The Tq spec is 48 ft.lb plus an additional 50 degrees.

    Note: Removal of AFM/DOD from your LV3 4.3L engine requires re-calibration of your ECU – You must select the diablosport option from the dropdown if you would like tuning included (for the OEM non-AFM cam only.

      3 x Texas Speed & Performance AFM Tower Plugs

    • Head Gaskets:

      GM LV1/LV3 head gaskets

    • Head Bolts:

      GM TTY Head Bolt Kit

    • Timing Cover Seals:

      Water Pump Gasket, Front Main Seal

    • Balancer Bolt:

      GM Balancer Bolt

    • Exhaust Manifold Gaskets

      MLS Gaskets

    • Lifter Trays:

      2 x Non-AFM lifter trays

    • Lifters:

      Delphi / LS7 Style Non-AFM Lifters (Full Set)

    • Camshaft Option:


      Factory spec non AFM 4.3L LV1 camshaft


      SDPC Stage 1 Camshaft - Requires Additional Tuning


      SDPC Stage 2 Camshaft - Requires Additional Tuning

    • Tuner Option:

      Diablosport Tuner for OEM Non-AFM Cam


    Mandatory Requirements:

  • Requires a Non-AFM Camshaft.

  • Non-AFM lifters and guides required.

  • PCM/ECM tuning to disable AFM parameters.

    - Can Be done with Diablosport Tuner for OEM Non-AFM Camshaft on 2014-2018 Trucks. Currently does not support 2019+ trucks.

    - For Stage 1 and Stage 2 SDPC Camshafts, additional custom tuning is required!
