Description
SFI 29.1 approved. Fits most LS-series Gen III and Gen IV Chevy 4.8, 5.3, 5.7, 6.0, 6.2 and 7.0 litre V8 engines using a 6 bolt crankshaft flange. Drilled for 10.75" small GM converter bolt pattern and also 11.062" (281mm) LS style converter bolt pattern. Includes a converter pilot adapter that is needed if you are using a converter originally made to fit older small or big block Chevy (non-LS). Flexplate is .035" thicker than stock and the starter ring is welded to both sides of the flexplate for additional strength. Constructed from a high tensile strength material this flexplate resists elongation and cracking. All 168 tooth flexplates are sized for stock 3/8" mounting bolts and can be easily drilled for 7/16" diameter high performance torque converter applications. For 4L80E or TH400 applications that have an 11.5" torque converter bolt pattern, use P/N 399754.
This will not fit 1999-2000 6.0L applications with 0.400 in. extended crank flange and came with flat flexplate. This will not fit 1999-2000 4.8L applications that originally came with a manual transmission.
