The 383 Sealed South East Gasser Association engine starts life as the Chevrolet Performance SP383 Deluxe crate engine. To get the engine ready for drag racing, the SDPC Raceshop installs a new Moroso 21815 oil pan and the correct oil pick-up tube, Federal Mogul High Pressure Oil Pump, 1-pc steel oil pump drive shaft , custom grind hydraulic roller camshaft, and the SEGA Sealed Bolt Kit.
Each engine is serial numbered and filled with Maxima Break-In engine oil for dyno testing on the Raceshop's Superflow engine dynometer. The engine does not include a flywheel, carburetor, distributor, plug wires, water pump or any other ancillary components.

Description
Engines are dyno tested with our HVH 2" carb spacer, VP 101 Unleaded Gas, our in-house APD 750-cfm carburetor and a MSD7AL ignition system to insure each engine's dyno numbers are repeatable and ready for SEGA competition.

• Aluminum Fast Heads - Dual Valve Cover Bolt Pattern - Will Accept SBC Perimeter 4-Bolt Valve Covers and the Late Model Center Bolt Design
• D-Shaped Exhaust Port - Requires a Minimum of 1.625" ID Port Dimension, Most SBC 1-3/4" OD and Larger Headers Will Fit Easily
• SEGA Seals Installed on Intake Manifold, Cylinder Heads and Timing Cover
• Chevrolet Performance 1.5 Ratio Aluminum Body Roller Rockers
• Peak HP as Dynoed at the SDPC Raceshop 480HP @ 5400 RPM
• Peak Torque 499FT-LBS @ 4800 RPM
• Horsepower and Torque Numbers with 36-Degrees Timing, VP101 Unleaded, APD 750CFM Carb with 72/78 Jets
