The 5.3L LS based engine was first introduced in 1999 for GM Pick-ups and SUV's. This all aluminum 5.3L long block crate engine is a remanufactured replacement for most 2010 through 2014 Chevrolet and GMC Pick-ups and SUV's. This 5.3L assembly fits most LC9 applications with engine code "3" for Flex Fuel with cylinder deactivation. To verify the engine code in your application please call our Tech Department with your VIN and we will gladly identify the correct replacement engine and answer any questions you might have.
