SDPC Raceshop CHE4290 - CHE High Performance LS & LT Rocker Trunnion Kit

Improve Rocker Arm Life of your LS and LT with the CHE 4290 Trunnion upgrade kit from SDPC Raceshop!

CHE4290
CHE Precision has helped develop with our own Raceshop engine builder Kurt Urban one of the most advanced high performance trunnion replacement kits on the market today for LS1, LS2, LS3, LS6, LS7, LS9, the GEN5 LT1 and LT4 stock rockers.

The factory production LS rocker arm is a lightweight proven design, but as valve spring pressures and valve lift increased it became necessary to find ways to improve upon the stock LS rocker's reliability. By replacing the stock caged roller bearing assembly with CHE’s precision machined trunnion and proprietary bushing material, this unique design maintains the low-mass rotating weight of the stock LS rocker design while providing superior reliability for high RPM LS race engines. If you are looking for a professionally engineered and track tested LS trunnion rocker arm replacement, CHE and the SDPC Raceshop have the solution.

Comments:
Okay guys, I installed this in about 5 hours in my LS7 and I have to tell you how impressed I am with the precision(pun intended) of this upgrade. First off, I am planning on a valve job to correct any errors from factory machining process but I thought I do this first to get my feet wet. My factory rocker arms had so much slop that the trunnions actually clicked in my hand when I moved them up and down against the needle bearings. Secondly, they were covered in grey(metal loaded) oil from the bearings eating themselves. My engine only has 15,500 miles and it’s bone stock. Now I know where all the stuff on my magnetic drain plugs was coming from! The 1-Ton arbor press I purchased worked well and reassembly was easy. I swear my LS7 runs more quietly but don’t actually have a measurement. Highly recommended CHE Precision trunnions!
