The 5.3L LS based engine was first introduced in 1999 for GM Pick-ups and SUV's. This Iron block Aluminum head 5.3L long block crate engine is a re-manufactured replacement for most 2006 thru 2007 Chevrolet and GMC Pick-ups and SUV's. This 5.3L assembly fits most LM7 applications with engine codes "T" and engine code "Z" for Flex Fuel.
