Small Block Chevy Hydraulic Roller Hot Cam
Originally designed by Chevrolet Racing for the 1996 LT4 Fuel Injected 5.7L (350ci) for road racing and street performance, this cam has found its way into the older carburated Small Block Chevrolet's as the preferred performance power upgrade for those desiring a GM designed camshaft. This hydraulic roller camshaft has a nice mild "racey" sound with aftermarket exhaust and we suggest the use long-tube headers to take full advantage of the cam. It is our most popular selling hydraulic roller camshaft for the Small Block Chevrolet Engine.
Dyno tests show a broad torque curve and substantial power gains over the typical flat tappet SBC cams. With the Chevrolet Performance's 1.6 roller rocker arms , this cam has a 0.525" lift on the intake and the exhaust which provides increased flow capabilities for both stock and ported SBC cylinder heads. Capable of more than 400HP with the correct cylinder heads this cam is a proven winner.

Description
Technical Notes:
- This camshaft is designed for usage in several Small Block Chevrolet (SBC) engine applications. For Pre-1996 SBC engines the dowel pin in the end of the camshaft must be pushed in so that the extension of this dowel pin is approximately 0.300" from the flat face of the cam. For the 1996 LT1 and LT4 SBC 5.7L engines this dowel is in the correct position (0.620") from the end of the camshaft.
- This cam has the provision for a mechanical fuel pump.
