Designed specifically for demanding forced-induction, nitrous, and high-RPM naturally aspirated Gen V combinations, this wet aluminum block incorporates heavy-duty ductile iron sleeves that provide superior bore stability, wear resistance, and impact absorption. A true priority-main oiling circuit feeds the crankshaft main bearings first to ensure maximum hydrodynamic lubrication under severe cylinder pressure. The block arrives equipped with high-strength M10 8740 alloy main studs (190,000 PSI tensile strength), precision-ground steel cam thrust plate, Dura-Bond cam bearings, an LTR-specific rear cover kit, and all necessary galley plugs.

• Semi-Finished Machining Required: Shipped as a builder race block requiring final machining and blueprinting to match your rotating assembly:
  • Final deck surfacing (0.011" extra deck material provided for custom quench adjustment).
  • Final cylinder hone to your exact piston clearance (sleeves shipped semi-finished at 4.065" ID).
  • Final line hone on crankshaft main bore (0.003" extra material left for precision bearing clearance).
• Gen V Architecture Specifics: Engineered exclusively for Gen V LT applications, featuring direct injection high-pressure pump provisions, Gen V camshaft sensor placement, and M12 cylinder head fastener threading.
• Mandatory Pre-Assembly Inspection: Thoroughly clean and inspect the block before final assembly. Verify that all oil rifle passages, cooling circuits, and tapped holes are clear of machining fluids and debris.
