Critical Fitment & Installation Notes:
- Mandatory Non-AFM Camshaft: This kit is intended strictly for use with a non-DOD/AFM camshaft (factory replacement or performance aftermarket). Retaining a factory DOD/AFM camshaft with standard non-AFM lifters will result in improper valve seating, severe cylinder misfires, and valvetrain damage.
- Updated Valley Sealing: Features drop-in AFM valley port plugs that directly seal off active oil towers beneath the factory valley plate, eliminating the expense of sourcing a separate non-AFM valley cover.
- Delphi LS7 Lifters & Guides: Upgrades all 16 valve lifter positions to proven Delphi LS7 hydraulic rollers alongside fresh non-AFM guides to prevent lifter rotation in the bore.
- PCM Calibration Required: Mechanical delete components require disabling the AFM/DOD system within the engine computer (PCM) to stop the ECM from commanding cylinder deactivation and setting diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs).
