The ZZ454 packs a serious punch. Chevrolet Performance installed a set of high flow racing inspired oval port aluminum cylinder heads on top of a fully forged 454 cubic inch shortblock and the results are nothing short of awesome - 469hp and 519 lb-ft of TQ! You should note that it's all build on a latest generation 4-bolt main block - so you know it is strong. The high lift hydraulic roller camshaft provides a broad TQ curve with excellent street manners.

Includes water pump, balancer, aluminum intake manifold, and a 14" flexplate

You will need to provide a carb, starter, ignition system, and front accessories

Clutch pivot ball hole is tapped and ready to accept your pivot ball and linkage

If using cast iron exhaust manifolds, the lower head bolts will need to be replaced with bolts that have thinner heads for clearance

If using manual transmission, use flywheel 14096987 and an 11" clutch assembly

Designed for pre-1976 street vehicles and any offroad vehicle

Not intended for marine applications
